Who Is the Hero???

Who is the hero - one who conquers his own desire,
Or one who claims what’s not his, reaching higher?
Who is the hero - the unseen spiritual guide,
Or the believer willing to die
For the earthly cause they hold so near?
Who is the hero - following his heart's soft plea,
Or the one whom millions watch and see?
Who is the hero - expanding self's vast scope,
Or one who broadens human knowledge's hope?
Who is the hero - the pioneer or the settler’s way?
The hedonist or the fixer saving day?
No, I do not wish to be a hero today!
